Summer Picture Board!

7th Grade Students:

Hope you all are enjoying your last weeks of summer! I would like to ask you to do one thing for me before the school year starts. Please choose one photo of one of your more memorable experiences this summer and either bring a copy of it to school on the first day or send it to me in an e-mail so I can print it out. I would like to showcase all the interesting things that we all did this summer on one of my bulletin boards.
To add a little incentive to this, this WILL BE A GRADED ASSIGNMENT. In addition, those of you who bring in or send me a picture on or by the first day of school will receive EXTRA CREDIT. What an easy way to start the school year with an "A"!

Don't forget to finish up your summer homework assignments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you soon!

Welcome to the new 7th grade blog!

Hello class of 2012! I hope that you have been enjoying your summer! I'm sure that you will have a lot of stories for me in September. I also hope that you have been keeping up with your summer homework. Please let me know if you need any assistance with your summer work, as it will be graded when we return.

This blog will contain daily, weekly and monthly homework when we return to school. It will also give parents and students a place to ask questions, post comments, and make announcements as well. You may post these things on the home page/announcement page. All other pages are strictly for listing homework and directions for projects. The comments are moderated by myself, but I will post everything that I feel will benefit the class and the school.

I hope that parents and students could help me out with this blog. I would like to know what kind of information/features you would like to see on this blog. If you have suggestions as to what should be posted on these pages (or additional pages) please let me know! I want this class blog to be an easy way for parents, students and myself to communicate about what is going on in the class and the school.

Enjoy the remainder of your summer! Don't forget to check back for more posts/info as the school year approaches!
